He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter S. Smith and Dora Smith (Hargis); his siblings, Coy Smith, Arvil Smith, Bessie Middleton, Lillian Binam, Irene Carter, Ida Faye McDaniel and Oneida Shaffer; his son Larry Smith; his great grandchild Hunter Smith; his stepson Randy Smith; and his son-in-law Randy Watkins.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Smith; his children, Jimmy Smith (Tammy) of Seabeck, WA and Cindy Watkins of Wharton Creek; his sister Mary Galvan of Forum; his daughter-in-law Linda Smith of Marble; his grandchildren, Travis Smith, Jeremey Watkins and Brandy Curtis; his great grandchildren, Toby, Faith, Ty, Taci, Chase, Tripp, Adelynn and Maxx; and his stepchildren, Kathy Robertson (Kearny) of Brookhaven, MS, Theresa Brazell of Brookhaven, MS, Raymond Smith (Jetta) of Louisiana and Reggie Smith (Trudy) of Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marble United Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
