He was predeceased by: his wife Rhoda Chaple; and his parents, Roger Chaple and Katherine Chaple. He is survived by: his daughters, Yvonne (Eric Drost) and Cheryl Thielemann of Huntsville; and his siblings, Harry Chaple, Paul Chaple, Michael Chaple and Kathy Durbin. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
