He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophus Petersen and Elly Christiansen Petersen. He is survived by: his son Larry; his daughter-in-law Linda Petersen of Huntsville; his daughters, Karen Petersen (Joey Keasler), Laila Petersen (Derek Hudspeth) and Anna (Todd Cannon); his brothers, Henrik and Steven Petersen of Huntsville; and his grandchildren, Forrest, Justin, Courtney, Cheyanne, Olivia, Bridgette, Alexander, Levi and Phoenix. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
