He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Kelly and Maxine Ruth Lockhart; his son Matthew Major Lockhart; and his sister Claudette Ruth Lockhart Bagwell. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hobbs Lockhart; his son Robert Wayne Lockhart (Debbie) of Humphrey; his siblings, Dwight "Hotsey" E. Lockhart (Earleen) of Stuttgart and Marjorie C. Dobson of Stuttgart; his grandchildren, Valenya Lockhart Franks (Trey) and Randall Wayne Lockhart (Courtney); and his great grandchildren, Raedyn Abbott and Torrin "Jude" Lockhart.
