He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Clyde; his siblings, Bo Munnerlyn, Opal Cole, Gladys Merritt and Virginia Carter; his wife Linda Munnerlyn; his sons, Gary Munnerlyn (Laura) of Hazen, Ricky Munnerlyn (Cindy) of Humphrey and Darren Munnerlyn (Tonya) of Humphrey; his grandchildren, Chelsea Katelman (Mike), Ashley Munnerlyn, Shelby Anderson (Alex) and Sarah; and also, Nicole Pennington (Kyle) and Erin Williams. He was also cherished by 10 great-grandchildren.
