She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wicklund and Sarah Ann "Annie" Bankston Wicklund; her daughter Anita McCarty; and her siblings, Walter Wicklund, Bill Wicklund, Bob Wicklund and Fern Putt.
She is survived by: her husband Henry Leroy McCarty; her children, Ken McCarty (Brenda) of DeWitt and Sharon Heird (Audie) of Humphrey; her sister Anna Belle Flanery of Stuttgart; her siblings-in-law, Mary Turney of Stuttgart and Willie Scroggins; her grandchildren, Terri Garrison (Michael) of Stuttgart, Brian Roberts of Stuttgart, Rebecca Carey (Brad) of Atoka, OK, Scott McCarty (Shannon) of DeWitt, Lori McCarty of DeWitt and Stephen Heird (Sarah) of Atkins, AR; and also Calvary. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
