He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred McCune and Thelma McCune; his brothers, Willie "Gene" McCune and George Edward McCune; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Trammell and Paul Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly McCune; his daughters, Angie Alberson (Randy) of Carlisle, JoAnn McCune of Humnoke and Kisha McCune (Jay) of DeValls Bluff; his stepson Michael Sooter of Stuttgart; and his siblings, Betty Wood of Eudora, Nancy Wood (Jim) of Stuttgart, MaeDean Caples (Robert) of Humphrey and Carl David McCune (Barbara) of Greers Ferry. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
