She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Hughes and Mary Hughes; and her brothers, Jesse J. Kates and Lorenzo Williams. She is survived by: her husband James Smith of Humnoke, AR; her children, Toni D. Grigler, Karmen Romona Smith and Cedrick Smith; her siblings, David Hughes (Ann) of Stuttgart, AR, Howard Benton of Stuttgart, AR, Gary Benton of Stuttgart, AR, Charles Benton (Sherry) of Stuttgart, AR, Kirk Hughes (Kim) of Stuttgart, AR and Sandra Hughes McGee (Larry) of Belton, TX; and her aunt Essie Cole of Los Angeles, CA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
