She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Alma McKinney Jimerson; her husband Douglas Clingmon; her son James Clingmon; her grandsons, Earnest Clingmon and James Mahomes; her siblings, Leon Jimerson, Larry McKinney, Leola Walker, Johnetta Jimerson and Marie Coleman; and her daughter-in-law Rose Clingmon.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Paul Clingmon, Jewel Jones (Emanuel), Joyce Freeman (Cleveland), Thurman Clingmon (Brenda), Annie Dockery (Willie Sr), Loretta Dockery (Robert), Betty McCoy (JC), Mae Avery (Gilbert), Alma Richard, Douglas Louise Clingmon and Marilyn Clingmon; her stepdaughter Jessie Smith (Jefferson); and her sister Linda Hampton. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren.
