It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Goacher of Hughes, Arkansas, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Goacher and Louise Goacher (Wilson); his former wife Patsy; his son Gary Ray; and his siblings, Sanford Goacher of Hughes, Cecil Goacher of Wynne, Helen Coffey of Forrest City and Doris Jensen of Garden City, MO..
He is survived by: his wife Carey; his children, Jeanette Skipper (Rodger) of Hughes and Timmy (Dianna) of Hughes; his grandsons, Eric Skipper (Gabrielle Edington) of West Memphis and Will Skipper of Hughes; his great grandchild Karsen Skipper of West Memphis; his stepsons, Ricky Bledsoe of Augusta and Mark Bledsoe (Teressa); his stepgranddaughter Abby Bledsoe of Bartlett, TN.; and his siblings, Frances Creekmore (Delbert) of West Memphis, David Goacher of West Memphis and Lewis Goacher (Annie) of Velvet Ridge. He is also survived by family members and friends.
Roller-Citizens Funeral Home will be following guidelines issued by the Arkansas Department of Health and the CDC regarding COVID-19. Social distancing of at least six feet must be practiced and all funeral attendees must provide and wear their own mask.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to First Baptist Church, Box 25, Hughes, AR 72348.
