He was predeceased by: his parents, Lum Columbus Maxie and Lottie Hutsell Maxie; his wife Barbara Fry Maxie; and his siblings, Alvie Maxie, Edgar Maxie, Bill Maxie, Horace Maxie, Claudia Golden and Syble McCampbell.
He is survived by: his children, Noble Lee Maxie, Jr. of Hoxie, Ray Maxie of Hoxie and Lisa Maxie of Hoxie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
