He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Hill and Odar Lawson Hill; and his siblings, Alvin, Leonard, Frankie, Joe, Inez Kyzer, Iva Mae Edmondson, Ruby Woolf and Ruth Steele.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lively Hill; his sons, Arnold Thomas Hill Jr (Donna) and Louis Edward Hill (Beth); and his sister Mary Ellen Lamb. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the May Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 221, Houston, AR 72070.
