She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bob" Powell and Newana Lee "Wanda" Powell; her grandmother Patricia Lee Blackmon; her husband Gordon Major; and her son-in-law Joseph W. Tackett.
She is survived by: her daughter Leann Tackett (Walker); her granddaughter Hannah Tackett of Hot Springs; and her stepgrandson Joshua Tackett (Pancake) of North Carolina.
