He was predeceased by: his parents, Willa Mae Graves and George Dayton Fields; and his siblings, Leroy Fields of Hot Springs and Wanda Rodgers (Patsy Jean "Cricket") of Batesville. He is survived by: his children, Juanita Hart (Ray Hart) and Rick T. Fields (Shannon Fields); his grandson Nathaniel "Dino" Coffman (Ashley); and his nephew Tony Glen Cummings of Cricket's. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
