He was predeceased by: his wife Carol C. Cruz; and his son William James Cruz. He is survived by: his children, Richard Cruz (Nita), Daniel Cruz, Joseph Cruz (Colleen), Mary Gold and Theresa Henson (John); and his siblings, Paul Cruz, Raymond Cruz (Karen), Manuel Cruz (Janet) and Jessie Petrovic. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (295 Balearic Rd, Hot Springs Village, AR 71909). A rosary was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the CedarVale Cemetery (200 Minorca Rd, Hot Springs Village, AR 71909).
