We bid farewell to Laura Mae Mazzia of Hot Springs, Arkansas, born in Mobile, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 13, 2024 at the age of 94. Laura Mae touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Nicholas and Laura Jones Nicholas; and her siblings, William, Edwin, Emmett, Claude Nicholas, Mary Louise Johnston, Joan Marie McInnis and Loretta Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Ferd J. Mazzia, III (Sylvia) of Hot Springs, AR, Ronald N. Mazzia (Nancy) of Lansing, KS and Carmen V. Mazzia McMahen (Bobby) of Magnolia, AR; her brother Arthur B. Nicholas (Joan) of Northville, MI; her brother-in-law John H. Hesterly of Aberdeen, MD.; and her grandchildren, John Mazzia of Hot Springs, Jason Mazzia (Kaye) of Dardanelle, Kandee Swift (David) of Paragould, AR, Heather Robinson of Little Rock, Laura Linn McDill (Zack) of El Dorado, Mary Ellen McMahen of Gurdon, Nicole Frishman (Jackson), Becca Holt (Dave) of Seattle, WA, Elizabeth Ann Hiem (Tim) of Algonquin, IL and Chris Mazzia of Manhattan, KS. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
