With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry L. McDaniel of Hot Springs, Arkansas, born in Saint Francis, Arkansas, who passed away on November 7, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Herbert McDaniel and Lillie C. Collier McDaniel of Roy's Hospital; and his brothers, Obbie, John Harris and Rev. George Solomon McDaniel.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Scott; his sisters, Margaret Seawood, Lillie Johnson and Carlene Oliver; his children, Larry LeTrell (Andrea), Herbert Darius (Adrian), Trayson McKinley (Shena) and Shakenia Tate (Annias); his grandchildren, Briana, KaLariya, Trayona, Aundreyes, Amani, AnniasII, Alayah, Jade and Elijah; his sisters, Betty Davis, Dorothy Slaughter, Loistine Bishop, Iola Brown and Rose Marie Adams; his siblings-in-law, Theodore Marshall, Robert Woodfork, Willie Walker, Johhny McKinley, Jimmy Thomas, Jerry, Clarence, Ray, Kenneth E., Kenneth L., Johnny Scott, Charlene Marshall, Florene Walker, Rosie McKinley, Joyce Thomas, Jessie and Ann Scott; his cousin Larry Sexton; and his sister Vivian Dendy. He is also survived by aunts, uncle, nephews, nieces.
Viewing was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greater St. Paul Baptist Church (497 Crescent Ave, Hot Springs, AR 71901). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
