He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Winston and Daisy Winston; his wife Aleta Winston; and his siblings, Frank Winston (Pat), Marjorie Johnston (Joe) and Jackie Fortner.

He is survived by: his brothers-in-law, Howard Fortner, Rick Milholen (Sandy) and Jim Milholen; his nephews, Eldon Winston (Ann) of Tolar and Tim Winston (Laura) of Hot Springs; and his niece Annette Walters (Benny) of Hot Springs. He is also survived by 10 grandkids and 16 great grandkids.
