He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl A. Taylor and Gladys Coffman Taylor; and his sister Bea Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Virginia (Ginny); his children, Teresa Burchfield and Carl E. Taylor Jr. (C. J.); his grandchildren, Krissy Burchfield and Mandy Boullie (Jason); and his siblings, Thom (Wilma), Rick Taylor, Charles (Thereasea) and Linda Adair (Becky Baker). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
