With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William J. Hurley Jr. in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on June 14, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Marie Hurley (Hounihan) and William J. Hurley, Sr.; and his siblings, Carolyn, Clarita and Vincent.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Juanita Hurley (Wortel); his children, William Hurley (Lisa) of Bloomington, Richard Hurley (Linda) of Glendale, Michelle Eggert (Gene) of LaPorte, Renee Cornelius (Chris) of Bargersville and Dawn Wendt of Fishers, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Benjamin Santerre (Jenny), Stephanie Salcido (Ryan), Kaitlin Hurley (Andrei Neag), Dustin Eggert (Courtney), Daniel Eggert (Brandon Strawn), Megan Dunwoody (Thomas), Kevin Cornelius (Kirsten), Stephen Cornelius (Abbey), Bryan Cornelius, Noah Wendt (Michael Lasher) and Hannah Wendt; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, McKinley, Madysen, Dylan Salcido (Stephanie), Sebastian and Samantha. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in Bill's name to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church or Arkansas Hospice.
