He was predeceased by: his father Vernon Lee; and his son Richard Allen Jones. He is survived by: his mother Deloris Mae Jones of Wimberley, Texas; his wife Jill; his children, Leslie Elaine Jones of Memphis, Tennessee and Matthew Dale Jones of Memphis, Tennessee; his sister Sheila; his brother-in-law Timothy Dunn of Lilburn, Georgia; and his brothers, Roger (Joyce Jones) and Johnny (Angie Jones). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
