She is survived by: her sons, David S. Peterson, D. Hamilton Peterson and Charles R. Peterson; her grandsons, Campbell Hamilton Peterson and Peyton Croft Peterson; her brother Hugh Girard Hamilton, Jr.; her nephew Hugh Girard Hamilton III; and her niece Jennifer Hamilton.
