He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hopkins and Marguerite Hopkins. He is survived by: his wife Jean Ann Red Hopkins; his stepdaughter Jacqueline White (Robert) of Boston; his daughters, Teresa Moses of Austin and Angela Moses; his grandchildren, Audrey Ward, Colin White, Abigail Wilkinson, Ellery White, Brooks Johnson and Max Johnson; and his sisters, Paula Pierson of Birmingham and Loyce Anne Hopkins of Dallas, Texas..
