With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marvell Blocker (Hot Springs Village, Arkansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his wife Linda; his parents, Hiram Blocker and Ruby Blocker; and his brothers-in-law, Allen Claire and Lannie Murders.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Dorris (Gary) and Keith Blocker (Beverly); his grandson Aaron Dorris (Amanda); his children, Tanya Dye (Aaron), Breanna Funderburk (Matt), Justin Dorris and Kassie Furr; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Bella, Cameron, Maci, Ainsley, Paisley, Brooklynne, Mason, Asher, Addison, Fletcher and Jackson; and his sisters, Virlene Claire and Karen Murders. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many more family members.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Caruth Village Funeral Home (4623 AR-7, Hot Springs Village, AR 71909). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rock Springs Baptist Church (1026 Rock Springs Rd, Jessieville, AR 71949).
