He is survived by: his wife Robbie Blumenthal Deaton; his children, Angie Winterton (Jerry) of Cary, NC, Dayton Knoll (Louise) of Los Angeles, CA, Matthew Deaton (Melissa) of Brentwood, TN and Christy Davidson (Chris) of Bartlett, TN.; his grandchildren, Annah, Evan, Addison Edwards, Chelsea Ball (Perry) and Abby Davidson; his great grandchild Maddox Ball; and his sister Carol Griggs of Bartlett, TN. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
