She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Babich and Katherine Babich; her husband Thomas Thornton; and her sister Marianne Vale. She is survived by: her children, Robert Thornton (Laura), Thomas Thornton (Joan), Cheryl Thornton and Teresa Lillard (Neil); her grandchildren, Rob Thornton (Keri Bell), Scott Thornton, Matt Thornton (Haley), Adam Thornton (Lauren), Madeline Padgett (Reed), Nick Marshall (Celeste) and Mackenzie Threlkeld (Hunter); and her great grandchildren, Phillipa Thornton, Collier Thornton, Ella, Amelia, Lucille Thornton, Sophia Marshall, Cayden and Teagan Threlkeld.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (295 Balearic Rd, Hot Springs Village, AR 71909). A Mass was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
