With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Malcolm Wayne Echols of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, who passed away on January 29, 2021 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Malcolm Wayne Echols to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Echols and Georgia O. Echols (Bryant); and his daughter Beverly Echols. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Echols; and his children, Vicki Renfroe of Hot Springs, AR, Angelique Echols of Alaska, Connie Kelly (Tim) of Idaho, Bob McClelland of Kentucky, Scott McClelland (Sonja) of Texas and Shawn McClelland (Julee) of Texas. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Social distancing and face masks will be required.
In lieu of flowers the family asks those interested in donating to choose one of Malcolm's two passions: Special Olympics, which brought great joy to Beverly, Malcolm and Cathy's daughter; or Samoyed Rescue of Texas, and organization that rescues, rehabs, and re-homes dozens of Samoyeds each year (please note the donation is on behalf of Malcolm):
