He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Helen Deer; his wife Shirley Fickle; his children, Rose Johnson (Jeff) and Donald L Fickle (Lisa); his sister Barbara Welch (Mike); his grandsons, Andrew J. Keen (Paige) and Nicholas Fickle (Mariana); and his great grandchildren, Maria and Eleanor.
