He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Jaspers Jr. and Cora Thornes Jaspers; his sister Marlene Kohlhaas; and his nephew Bryan Jaspers. He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary; his son Phil Cobb (Shelley) of Whitesboro, TX; his grandchildren, Cayden Cobb and Cortlyn Cobb of Whitesboro, TX; his great grandchild Jolene Adams; his brother Donald Jaspers (Patsy) of Rathdrum; his nieces, Jeanne, Coleen, Nancy and Deb; his nephew Paul; and his great-nephews, Luke, Bryan, Brandon, Scott and Jacob.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Diabetes Association.
