She was predeceased by: her parents, Morten Almer Mortenson and Maude Mortenson (Hughes); her husband Gene Edward Williamson; and her brothers, Arnold, Ellis, Harold and Bernard Mortenson.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Piersol (Jim); her grandchildren, Mike Piersol (Michelle) of Williamsburg, IA, David Piersol (Vanessa) of Las Vegas, NV and Lynn Gimian (Todd) of Las Vegas, NV; and her great grandchildren, Hannah Piersol, Andrew Piersol, Finley Piersol, Arlo Piersol, Hayden Gimian and Sawyer Gimian. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the White Funeral Home (400 1st St W, Independence, IA 50644). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials will be directed to First United Methodist Church, Independence or a charity of the donor's choice.
