He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Brown and Myrtle Brown (Lawson); his son Steve Kauffman; and his brother Robert Brown. He is survived by: his wife Fredi Brown (Goldman); his daughters, Stephanie Wright (Bob) of Galveston, Andee Kauffman of Memphis and Kat Mock (Steve); his grandchildren, Heather, Jessica and Kendall; his brother Charlie Brown (Mary Jo); and his friend Bennie.
