She is survived by: her sons, Chip (Kitty Reeves), Joe Bates, Josh Bates and Steve (Kelly Bates); and her grandchildren, Harrison Reeves, Kensey Reeves, Addison Reeves, Braelynne Bates, Baylor Bates, Jordan Bates, Lexi Bates, Mariah Bates and Halee Bates.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The American Cancer Society, a testament to Jo's giving spirit and her desire to help others.
