He is survived by: his children, Troy Mitzel of Texas and Connie Harris (Kirk) of Hot Springs; his siblings, Shirley Columbo of Malvern, Ohio, David Mitzel (Nancy) of Newton, KS, Jeff Mitzel (Judy) of Carrollton Ohio and Russ; his sister-in-law Wenda Locke of Minerva, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Zack Harris (Niki) of Hot Springs, Wesley Harris (Alex) of Benton, Kristen Harris of Chicago, IL, Samantha (Bobby) of Abilene, TX, David Rosales of Abilene, TX and Stephanie Mitzel of Hot Springs. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.
