He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Smith and Sylvia Smith (Vacker). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Peters; his children, Chris (Amber) of Sherwood and Sara Peterson (Brian) of Altoona, Iowa; and his grandchildren, David Smith of Little Rock, Andrew Smith of Honolulu, Braydon Smith of Sherwood, Maria Peterson of St. Paul and Henry Peterson of Altoona, Iowa.
