It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Eugene Skillern of Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Skillern and Mabel Skillern; and his siblings, Keith Skillern, Carolyn Kroha, Virginia Worthington and Norma Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Skillern; his children, Laura McCaslin (Mitchell), Michelle Matson (Burt) and Jim Gaston (Shelia); his grandchildren, Kristine Poole (Shane), Sami Beilstein (Clay), Jesse Gaston (Jessica) and Justin McCaslin; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Shelby, Jake and Chipper Gaston; and his brother Larry Skillern (Carol). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
