Sally Kay Stanton Obituary
Sally Kay Yarnell Stanton, 84, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 24, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Sally was born on October 15, 1938, to Kenneth Yarnell Sr. and Ellen Bittner Yarnell in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. Sally graduated from Lock Haven University and received her Masters from the University of Potsdam New York. She taught art for many years at different schools in Missouri and New York. She loved art, pottery, sculpting and knitting. Especially knitting items for her family. She was a wonderful woman who will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert Franklin Stanton and her children, Robert Kenneth Stanton (wife, Lori Stanton) and Beth Ann Brown (husband, Leon Michael Brown) and they were blessed with 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Sally is also survived by her sisters, Victoria McElwee of Smethport, Pennsylvania and Kim Bierly of Center Hall, Pennsylvania and brother, Kenneth Yarnell, Jr. of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania.
