He is survived by: his wife Sandra VanHouten of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; his son Brian VanHouten (Mandy) of Springfield, Illinois; his granddaughter Shelbi VanHouten; and his siblings, Norman VanHouten of Springfield, Don VanHouten (Donna) of Rivertown, Illinois and Sandra Kerr of Springfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
