It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edith Southwell of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, born in North Henderson, Illinois, who passed away on March 25, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Calder and Ida Calder (Dickerson); her husband William M. Southwell; and her siblings, Kathryn Brown, John Calder and Fred Calder.

She is survived by: her children, William M. Southwell, Jr. (Trudy) of Kansas City, John Robert Southwell (Kathy) of Dayton, Texas, Edith Mary Jackson (George) of Horseshoe Bend, Karen Sue Ehman (Frank) of Flower Mound and Sara JoAnne Stephens (Jim) of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; and her sister Helen Calder Smith of Loveland, Colorado. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
