It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Jane Butler of Horatio, Arkansas, born in Mecca, California, who passed away on November 12, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edgar and Betty Lou Abernathy McGunegill; and her siblings, Thomas Michael McGunegill and Judith Marie Collis. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Jerry Butler; her sons, Mark Allen Butler of Horatio, John Tracy Butler of California and James Patrick Butler of North Carolina; and her grandchildren, Christopher David Butler of Virginia, Melissa Danielle Butler of Arkansas, Nicholas Allen Butler of Arkansas and Dylan James Butler of North Carolina. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family requests that everyone wear a face mask and practice social distancing for safety.
