She was predeceased by: her parents, I. C. Stringfellow and Thelma Lee Sage Stringfellow; her siblings, Hershel Stringfellow, R. J. Stringfellow, Delton Stringfellow and Nell Barnes; and her granddaughter Caitlyn Rebecca Philemon.
She is survived by: her spouse Ralph Staggs of Horatio; her children, John D. Rogers, III (Linda) of Houston, Parick Rogers, Joy Smothers (Donny) of Nacogdoches, Cynthia Rogers Tucker of Horatio and Sherri Philemon; her close friend Lee of Hedley, Texas; her sister Loretta Reid of Horatio; and also Terry Staggs. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephew, other relatives and a host of friends.
