He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottis Gaylord and Lillian Kitterman Gaylord; his wives, Marilyn Gaylord, Patricia Gaylord and Virginia Gaylord; his son Craig Gaylord; his granddaughters, Cynthia Loraine Conner and Lisa Lynn Hall; and his siblings, Johnny Gaylord, Caroll Whitt and Kay Gaylord.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike Gaylord of Horatio, Brian (Tonja Gaylord) and David (Tonya Gaylord); his brothers, Edwin Gaylord of California and Allen Gaylord of Wichita, Kansas; and his sister-in-law Vivian Gaylord. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.
