He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus William and Dorothy Mae Stoker Butler. He is survived by: his wife Jamie Marie Abshire Butler; his son Charles Ray Butler; his daughter-in-law Charlotte McCarley; his daughter Cheryl of Horatio; his son-in-law Shannon Fielding of Horatio; his grandchildren, Cody Butler, Falon (Daniel Johnson), Laken (Dustin Plunk), Garrett Fielding, Amanda (Kevin Frachiseur), David (Casey Jones), Allison (Mo Milam), Shelly Johnson and Shawn Lloyd; his great grandchildren, Knox, Perry, Carter, Livi, Gavin, Evin, Rustin, Bentin, Noah, Lennon and Everleigh; and his sisters, Shirley Oglesby of Arkinda, Helen Smith of Goodwater, Mary Lincoln of Haworth and Lucille Henderson of Arkinda. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
