He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon O. Bishop and Ruth Taylor Bishop; and his siblings, Vernon Bishop, Jr., Larry E. Bishop, Lorene Coleman and Ruth E. Pogue.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Ayers Bishop; his children, Billy Bishop, Jr. (Rosalie) of Dallas, James Randall Bishop (Jeannine) of Las Vegas, Nevada and Sheri Grove (David) of Little Rock, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Jaime Gannon, John Grove, Jessica Bishop, Sara Grove, Taylor Bishop and Grant Bishop. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
