She was predeceased by: her parents, Lacey Leo and Bessie Mae Hall Harp; the fathers of children, O. D. and Opey; her children, Walter James Thomas and Marsha Lynn Gladden; and her siblings, Rachel Paralee Posey, Fern McGowen, Blanch Odell Tullos, Leo Harp, Z. M. Harp and John Harp.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Dean Thomas (Patricia) of Horatio and Ira Lee (Jessica) of Houston, Texas; and her close friend Nina McCoy. She is also survived by five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
