He is survived by: his wife Virginia Collard Cole; and his children, Virginia Atkins (Billy), Lynda Cole, Mary Hodges (Billy), Weldon Cole, Jr. (Sabrina), Glen Cole and Larry Simpson. He is also survived by his brother; eighteen grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
