He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Dillard and Ozelle Dillard; his siblings, Skip Dillard, Donnie Dillard, J. E. Dillard and Margaret Rhodes; and his granddaughters, Holly Gillaspie and April Carlton Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Trudie Dillard; his sister Cedallia Burke (David); his children, Beverly Curtis (Jack), Sherry Carlton (Randy), Becky Nowlin (Lee) and Duwana Zelonis (Larry); his grandchild Casey Curtis (Mikki); and his children, Justin Curtis (Maci), Lindsey Rosenbaum, Chris Carlton (Kandace), Heather Zelonis-Bagchi (Vishal) and Jordan Zelonis. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bluff Springs Baptist Church in Rosston, Arkansas.
