She was predeceased by: her daughter Carolyn Moore; her siblings, Esther Howell, Snow Hill, John, Leroy, Lyndell and Wyndell; her aunt Lottie Nesbit; her uncle Young Nesbit; and her friend James Hughes.
She is survived by: her parent Minnie Nivens; her spouse Foster Slatton; her sisters, Bobbye Calhoon and Ruby Brown; her cousin Patricia Nesbit Andrews; her grandchildren, Ashley Robbins (Douglas) and Austin Moore (Michelle); and her great grandchildren, Carson, Maxwell, Cole Robbins, Rachel (Adrian Jones), Rainlyn and Pheonix Moore. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
