He is survived by: his wife Tammy Patterson; his son Derek Zumwalt of Blevins; his stepfather Dave Rose of Perrytown; his sisters, Terry Bebee of Saratoga, Sherry Prejean of Hope and Kerry Carrico of Perrytown; his stepson James Cowart of Lufkin; and his stepgrandson Asher Cowart of Lufkin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
