She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Bowden and Lois Bowden (Durham); her husband Harold Beard; her brother Allison Bowden; and her stepdaughter Debra Chandler (Beard).
She is survived by: her children, David Beard (Lisa) of Willisville, Chris Beard (Kirstie) of Hope, Dr. Mike Beard (Glenda) of Conway, Gerald Beard (Angie) of Royal and Mark Beard (Dena) of Texarkana. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
