He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Mitchell, Sr. and Shirley Ann Mitchell-Whitaker; and his siblings, James Holston, Clyde Mitchell, Jr. and Shelia Lynn Mitchell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sonny Boy Mitchell (Leulla) of Hope, David Mitchell of Longview, Texas, Charlene Manning of Saratoga, Shirleen Jackson (Stanley) of Camden, Alma Langston of Grand Prairie, Donna Lewis of Hope and Carolyn M. Porter of Hope. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
